Andox was created by Andy with his own hands when he was on location filming in Dunhuang. The official birth date of Andy's "son" was on May 11, 2007 on Mother's day.
The 300 limited edition Andox set of five were sold out within minutes of its release (July 7) in Taipei. Andy explained, "The production company is in the process of making more, but there isn't enough time for production. I'm thinking it would be best to launch about 30, 000 or 300,000 of them. Thus, I hope Taiwan, Hong Kong, Mainland China, and other areas' fans will give me more time, and everyone will get their hands on one".
Personal Note: For some reason, Andox reminds me of TVbuddy.
