HK people like to exaggerate how English words are supposed to be pronounced. I do not find anything wrong with Ron's pronunciation of the word 'favourite'. How did they hear 'fei-fut'?
There are also HK citizens making fun of the way Moses saying 'McCafe' and 'cappuccino'. They accuse him of pronouncing them wrong, and that he is overemphasizing the words. That is super funny because HK-ers think that 'McDonald's' is pronounced 'Muk-Donald's' (because of the Chinese term 麥當勞). Thus, they assume that 'McCafe' is 'Muk-Cafe'? Also, do they say, 'cup-pa-cino'?

Look at the comments at the bottom of the page. All of a sudden people start criticizing MO for not pronouncing words correctly. Someone commented that MO pronounced "opportunity" as "op-pa-tina-ty" in Healing Hands II. OMG!!! Will MO be the next victim?

As for Mong Jeh's blog, I don't ever remember Moses pronouncing "opportunity" like that. Mong Jeh even said Moses and Chi Lam's English is "China Town English." People can't expect for someone to speak English with a native tongue when they immigrate to Australia in their teens (both Moses and Chi Lam). But I wouldn't consider Moses and Chi Lam's English to be "China Town English." Also, there is no such thing as "Perfect English." There is bound to be an accent of some sort. Ha ha...
