TVB created a web page for Raymond to promote his concert in June. This year is Raymond's tenth year in the industry. He has filmed many series and has released three music albums (his third album is soon to be released), but which song and which series are his fans' favourites? Fung Forever provided TVB with the information in "Polling" to help fans vote for their favourites.
Jacky Cheung and Andy Lau will also record messages for Raymond. The messages will be from his idols and his friends.
Personal Note: It would seem as though TVB really 'loves' Raymond to help him promote his concert on TVB's website; however, TVB hasn't allowed much time for him to practice for his concert. TVB is suggesting that his fans vote for songs by other artistes for Raymond to sing at his concert. However, how is he going to sing these songs if he doesn't have time to practice these songs? Raymond's memory for reciting lyrics is very poor, so voting or no voting, I'm guessing that he's going to sing the songs he had previously sung before.

ReplyDeleteIt would make sense if it is a PR strategy, but Miss Lok is going have Linda Chung as a performing guest. Again, Miss Lok is going to "use" Raymond....
ReplyDeleteAlso, Wong Cho Lam might be a guest, too. But Miss Lok has to arrange it through Catherine Tsang. You see, Cho Lam is on Catherine's side and he is busy with "Off Pedder." I don't see Cho Lam being a guest would be a problem because he and Raymond are both under EEG.
Linda is performing guest? so i may think they will sing HOG subtheme. And Linda will have her own song. Cho Lam is cool, i like his voice. But Raymond should invite more established singers as guest, so far only him, i think this concert is just average.

Raymond is capable of holding his own concert. TVB doesn't have to "push" EEG to do so. Raymond has enough of a fan base for it.
ReplyDeleteThe thing about inviting guests is that they can invite the wrong guests and mess the concert up. I.E. The guest's songs/image might be not suitable for the person who is holding the concert.
so if this is for money and fanbase, then i can understand. maybe just me, but i dont think Raymond is good enough to hole concert, now.
