Mimi Lo on "The Voice 2"

On June 27th, 2010, Mimi Lo joined contestant Penny Chan Kwok Fung on the second season of "The Voice" to sing Mimi's first plugged song "Challenger" from 1995. Anthony Lun even said, "I hope today's Hong Kong music industry would have more singers like Mimi Lo".

Personal Note: Everybody knows that Mimi can sing! People finally notice that she can sing now?! This is not even Mimi's best singing. Wow! People are slow! I guess it's better late than never. He he.... Love 美人! :D

Mimi entered the music industry in 1995. She was a newcomer with Kelly Chen, Christine Ng, Daniel Chan, etc. I remember watching Mimi on "All Singers for TVB Anniversary 1996" because she sang Paula Tsui's "Jubilant". :D

There have been reports saying that Mimi will start co-hosting "Jade Solid Gold" with MC Jin on July 23rd.

  2. Totally off topic, but is Penny Chan Kwok Fung referring to the GUY?
That's an incredibly odd name :0

Yeah, I saw the Mimi's part when she went on last season. Kenny B and Elisa Chan closed their eyes while listening to Mimi sing.

Yes, Penny Chan Kwok Fung is the guy. I was surprised when I found out that his English name is Penny.

I felt that this was not Mimi's best singing. I found it to be a little bit over the top. There was one part that Penny was supposed to sing, but he forgot to enter, so Mimi sang instead. It was the part where Anthony Lun mentioned. :)

Agree, Penny has a nice nice voice. I also agree with the image consultant judge about him changing his attire when singing these type of songs. :)
