Lunar New Year Series "Time of Love"

CREDIT IF REPOSTED

- TVB is inviting Japanese, Korean, and Taiwanese stars, as well as its own artistes, to go to Japan, Korea, Malaysia, and Singapore to film four stories.
- The series will air for four consecutive weeks, starting from January 26th.

'Urban' (Singapore)
- Cast: Raymond Lam, Charmaine Sheh
- Raymond Lam will play a simple and honest youth who falls in love with his beautiful and charming superior, Charmaine Sheh.

'Sad' (Malaysia)
- Cast: Kate Tsui, James Wen, Chris Wang
- Kate Tsui will be performing a sad, tear-jerking story without any makeup, becoming the Hong Kong version of Song Hye Kyo. In the series, she loses her memory after getting into a car accident. She will be caught in between James Wen and Chris Wang.

'Happy' (Korea)
- Cast: Linda Chung, Yeon Jung Hoon
- Linda Chung will play a greedy scatterbrain. She will be using humour. She and Yeon Jung Hoon will be a pair.

'Cartoon' (Japan)
- Cast: Wong Cho Lam, Aaron Yan, Naomi Watanabe
- Wong Cho Lam will be matching up Aaron Yan and Naomi Watanabe. He will play a cartoon-like old man who helps them explain what lovers want in their hearts...like a translator. He will have ten looks. There will be a lot of dressing up.

Personal Note: So this was what Raymond and Linda were talking about at the Sales Presentation!

Don't think that these short films will have much viewership, since they will be aired during CNY, but nice to see TVB trying something new. :)

Charmaine is still taking medication for the numbness in her arm, so whether she actually films the series is dependent on whether her body can handle it.
